Nazar Ali Khan – UX Lead – Inviqa

Nazar is a Lead UX Consultant at Inviqa, where he heads up UX strategy, research and design across multiple accounts. He joined Inviqa as part of the acquisition of UX agency Webcredible, where Nazar worked with leading brands including Tesco and Age UK. Nazar is inclusive and collaborative in his approach, and passionate about the value of research to drive innovation. He is an experienced design educator, and being a UX mentor and coach allows him to share his passion and skills with others.

How can we take our research activities and think about the needs of end users in a structured way? Can we devise lean and repeatable systems to organise our UX solutions to do this? Could we then fast forward to think about how these same systems could be used in future? Systematic approaches can help us achieve a shared understanding of user needs and how these needs could be met.

Morgane Peng – Design Director – Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking

Morgane Peng is responsible for the design vision and strategy of Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking. She delivers united and meaningful experiences with her team across Societe Generale products for start-ups, corporates and financial institutions.
Previously, Morgane adventured into various fields of consulting, financial markets and tech. In her spare time, she’s a gamer at heart and works on an indie video game successfully crowdfunded on Kickstarter.

Fabien Zibi – Tech Lead – Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking

Fabien wrote his first code line more than 20 years ago, and it was probably CSS.
Today he works as Tech Lead at Societe Generale, where his focus is on the Design System experience and ways to get devs and designers work better together.

We Have a Design System, Now What? The Leadership Aspect of Design Systems

We’ve been 5+ years in the making of our design system. Today, we’ve made it past the “done” stage a few times, and we’re still evolving while driving adoption. This talk is a retrospective on our experiments and first releases since 2014/2015, with a focus on the leadership aspect of design systems. We’ll talk about why other people don’t care about your system, why they don’t read the documentation, and how to lead adoption and scale to an entire organisation.
