UX Crunch: Why UX Writing?
Dojo Paymentsense, Floor 9, The Brunel Building, 2 Canalside Walk, London W2 1DG
About the event
The role of the UX Writer is becoming more and more sought after as it becomes further appreciated by the business. This invaluable skill has made its mark, and writers from other industries are turning their hands to UX. Whether you want to transition, improve your craft or just come to hear the greatest and latest from expert UX writers, our upcoming meetup has it all.
Our UX Writing Conference will make its debut in 2023. This meetup is your opportunity to get ahead of your peers and gain extra insights and knowledge at the precursor to our upcoming conference.
Learn from the UX Writers of world-renowned brands, take away actionable ideas, grow your craft and enjoy some good food and drinks with your peers and us. As we said, this meetup has it all.
Lead Product Designer at Dojo
Desislava is a Lead Product Designer, passionate about human-centred design, behavioural psychology and solving complex problems through user insights and technology.
In her spare time, she can be found attending industry events, improving her design and leadership skills or in the front row of a stand-up comedy show.
Head of Copy at Dojo
Luke is a copy, content and brand specialist with 15 years' experience both in-house (Dojo, LV=, Harper Collins) and agency side (Rufus Leonard, Wolff Olins).
Since January 2020, he’s headed up the copy team at Dojo. His team are the ‘voice’ of the business – responsible for delivering consistent and compelling messaging across every internal and external touchpoint.
In his spare time, you'll likely find him trying to escape London in search of idyllic country pubs, or icing his knees after a local league basketball game – a sport he still loves, but one his body increasingly thinks is a ridiculous pursuit.
With years of experience in localisation and tech writing, Magdalena is currently a senior UX writer building content design practice in an organisational design software company. What she loves most about her work is transforming ambiguous and complex experiences into engaging and human-friendly interactions using the right words.
Jade has been writing professionally for more than 10 years, and has crafted brand and UX copy for Tripadvisor, Barclays, ClearScore, and most recently TrueLayer, where's she's a senior UX Writer. Her passion for psychology plays a big part in her work, but in her spare time, she's either surfing, reading, or eating tapas.
